Quality Control
Quality Control application as dad and I tried to implement many times in the last 10 years.
The application must be built in a way where add-ons are possible (stats module, ISO 9000 module, BI module, ...)
Basically, divide production in stages and set parameters that need to be met for each stage. When QC specialist enters measured quantities, they are compared with the required values and actions are taken depending on how off values are and how important a given parameter is.
System must be flexible enough to be able to define rules on the fly. We don't want a new implementation every time a customer buy the product. -> I'll need to play with the Workflow Toolkit and see whether/how it can be integrated.
